ACTIVITY 1.1.1 Personal Reflection

Write a 500 word reflective journal entry on how a particular form of art (MUSIC, PAINTING, DANCE, LITERATURE) has impacted your life. Describe the emotions it evoked and the insight you gained from the experience.

I want to reflect on how the Qur'an, specially the Surah (Al-Qadr and Ash-sharh), has impacted to me. This surah has become one of my sources of comfort, guidance, and inspiration. Every time I hear or read the recitation of Surah (Al-Qadr/ Ash-sharh), I feel a sense of peace and silence. This is because every time the ayahs are recited, I am amazed and touched, and my Tired disappears, making my feelings lighter whenever I hear the ayahs. Sometimes, when I face challenges in life, my worries suddenly disappear. Another thing that resonates with me is the message of hope and guidance that this ayah conveys. In this world we live in, which can seem dark and uncertain, reading the ayah reminds me that Allah is always with me, giving me hope and protection.

One of the reasons I've grown fond of listening or reading the Qur'an is that it reminds me that Allah has a plan for me, and He is always working in my best interest, even when I don't understand what's happening. Something happened to me that changed my perspective on life. When I received the news that my younger sibling had passed away, I lost hope. But later, I realized that Allah has a plan for us, and He is always working in our best interest.

As I continued to listen to Surah Ash-Sharh, I began to notice the way it made me feel. Whenever I was feeling anxious or overwhelmed, listening to this surah would calm my nerves and soothe my soul. It was as if the music had a direct line to my heart, speaking to me in a language that only I could understand. But Surah Ash-Sharh has done more than just evoke emotions in me. It has also given me valuable insights into my life.

The Surah Ash-Sharh teaches me the importance of patience and trust. When I face challenges and trials, I overcome them and remind myself to trust in Allah's plan, knowing that He is the only one who knows everything that happens to us, and He will guide us through life's difficulties. As the Prophet said, "Accept what is destined for you, for it is good for you."

As mentioned in the Noble Qur'an (SO, SURELY, WITH HARDSHIP COMES EASE. SURELY, WITH HARDSHIP COMES EASE).
