Reflection:
For this piece, I chose digital sketching as my medium. I was drawn to it because of its accessibility and the freedom it offers to experiment without the permanence of traditional materials. The ability to undo, resize, and adjust colors on the fly allowed me to focus more on composition and mood rather than precision.
The simplicity of digital tools encouraged me to embrace minimalism. This, in turn, affected my creative process by pushing me to convey emotion and atmosphere using as few lines and tones as possible. The result is a quiet, contemplative piece that reflects the calm and clarity I often seek in the early hours of the day.
